Fraunhofer FIT (FIT) is currently hosting the WINDS platform and during previous projects has gathered experience with large scale web based applications. It will help with the integration and host the core of the MACE infrastructure.

In addition to the categories described above, Fraunhofer FIT (FIT) is working as coordinator of the project. FHG has rich experience in design, implementation and evaluation of e-learning solutions and virtual universities in IST projects (WINDS, RAFT, LTSC, ETRACKING, PRO-LEARN) and is through these projects strongly connected with other European research entities. MACE will benefit from these activities and be integrated right from the start.

In addition to its knowledge in technology, FIT has extensive experience in managing international multicultural projects and exploiting their results. It will perform the role of coordinator providing the administrative and financial project management as well as the quality assurance and control in project steering.
